This proposed project is currently in the planning and design phases. As the project moves forward, National Grid will be seeking local and state approvals.

The Project spans an area north of Route 93 at the exit 44 interchange past St. Johnsbury Road to the existing Moore Substation in Littleton, New Hampshire. There will also be work zone setups associated with wire pulls and structure hardware installation on the south side of Route 93.
A strong electrical transmission and distribution system is vital to our region’s safety, security, and economic prosperity. The Project will provide necessary upgrades to aging infrastructure while separating shared assets of National Grid’s and Great River Hydro’s, resulting in a more reliable energy delivery network.
You will be notified in advance if there are any scheduled power interruptions associated with the project.
You will likely see an increase in material and equipment deliveries in and out of the substation. Safety is always a priority, if needed, portions of the Project may be completed utilizing local police details and lane restrictions along public roadways.
National Grid is undertaking extensive community outreach to inform neighbors, public officials, and other impacted stakeholders about the project. The team will be hosting a Public Information Session in Littleton, NH to specifically discuss the transmission line work on this project, called C203/D204, in addition to an Open House to discuss the substation work for this Project.
