Project

About the Project

The Mystic to Everett Line Replacement Project is a joint project between National Grid and Eversource. The goal of the project is to upgrade underground power equipment between a National Grid substation in Everett and Eversource’s Mystic Substation in Boston. The project will take place between the cities of Everett and Boston.

By updating sections of underground power cables, the project will help make electric service more reliable for customers. The work will require some roadway construction. The areas most affected are expected to begin near the intersection of Horizon Way and Broadway and continue about half a mile south toward Alford Street in Boston.
